YouView, the subscription-free TV service, launched yesterday its free YouView App for Android.
The YouView App will allow customers to record their favourite programmes remotely from their Android devices. Programme schedules are listed by ‘now and next’, as well as day by day listings per channel.
The app, which is also available for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, provides listings for over 70 digital TV and radio channels for the next seven days, with full programme information details. It also allows YouView users to record programmes and series onto their YouView set-top box, while on the move.
It also gives the opportunity to securely connect up to 5 mobile devices for flexibility
