Otone Audio in co-operation with Paramount Pictures has announced the winner of its shop window display competition, run in celebration of the release of ‘Transformers: Age of Extinction’.
Otone Audio asked all its independent retailers to create a ‘Transformers’ themed window display to showcase the Otone range. The response was great and choosing between entries was tough, Otone says, but the judges finally agreed on a winner.
Hyland’s Longton store has been selected by a panel of judges due to the impressive design of the display, and the use of Transformers action figures to create a great dynamic display. Otone Audio sales director Simon Livingstone, visited the store to present their prize and take a look at the display for himself.
Otone Audio marketing and PR executive Adam Leach commented: “The shop window competition was a great way to not only showcase the Otone brand but also provide great in-store content in form of the Transformers point of sale which we provided.”
Simon added: “The competition was a great way to connect with the independent retailer and highlights their importance within the electronics industry. Independent stores have such passion for the products and are able to provide a personal service to every customer.”
Hyland’s Longton store manager Andy Fox said: “A lot of effort went into the display by my team and it was absolutely amazing to win the competition and to meet Simon.”
The store was presented with a cheque from Otone audio as well as limited edition Transformers: Age of Extinction Merchandise and posters.
