Whirlpool UK Appliances was named Large Manufacturer of the Year at the Sirius Buying Group’s 2022 conference.

The company said the accolade follows on from Whirlpool winning Supplier of the Year 12 months ago, which recognises the support it provided to members throughout 2021.

Steve Jones, managing director of the Sirius Buying Group, said: “It was an honour to be able to present Whirlpool Group with our award for Sirius Buying Group Large Manufacturer of the Year 2022.

“Our awards signify the support we receive at group management level from our Approved Suppliers as well as the support of our members and the business growth seen as a result of these factors.

“Awarding this accolade is heavily influenced by the performance feedback we receive from our membership in important areas such as deliveries, representation and overall customer service, which significantly contribute to our successful trading together. Winning the award for the second consecutive year is no easy feat and a testament to our strong working relationship that has been built over the years.”

Chris Isaac, field sales controller at Whirlpool UK Appliances, said: “We are delighted to receive an award from Sirius for the second consecutive year.

“The accolade demonstrates our strong mutual working relationship with the Sirius Buying Group and the reward is a great honour, and one that recognises the hard work and commitment from the Whirlpool team, as well as the outstanding support from the membership. Thank you.”
