Whirlpool UK Appliances Limited, the home of Hotpoint, Indesit, Whirlpool and KitchenAid brands, has won the much-coveted Combined Independent Holdings (CIH) award, ‘Supporter of the Independents’ at the CIH virtual luncheon in December 2020.
The virtual event was opened and chaired by Steve Scogings, Chairman of CIH. Steve announced the awards for the suppliers who had delivered the best offering, worked closely with CIH members’ along with the headquarters team.
Steve Scogings explained: “Whirlpool UK Appliances Limited won the award for the supplier that continued to show commitment to the independent retail channel. The team worked diligently and intently with our buying team and members to drive and ensure that CIH/Euronics is the leading and dominant influence in electrical retailing.
“We thank Whirlpool for its co-operation, commitment and supporting our members to be the finest electrical retailers in the UK.”
