Home appliance manufacturer Whirlpool has announced the launch of its new UK website.
Whirlpool says that the redesigned site aims to better support both consumers and retailers through ‘clear, in-depth information on appliances to buy, and where to buy them’.
The pages have been designed to work on any size screen or device, and include ‘Appliances’ and ‘Accessories’ product pages.
Each product page includes full specifications, downloadable manuals, special features and independent Reevoo customer reviews, information on energy ratings, noise levels and water consumption and technology videos, for high-spec products.
The ‘Help Me Choose’ filtering system has been added to simplify the variety of appliances in the Whirlpool range. To complete the customer journey there is a new ‘Where to Buy’ tool available, which shows where customers can buy each product online and offline.
The ‘Innovation & Design’ section includes Whirlpool’s latest technologies outlined along with the practical benefits they can bring. These information pages are designed to help customers and retailers alike understand the latest technology in the sector and learn what is to come in the future, Whirlpool says.
Whirlpool UK trade marketing manager Neil Austin said: “We have carried out a lot of research to determine which areas of the website needed enhancement in order to provide the best possible experience for our users. We wanted to create useful content at everyone’s fingertips, and the new website is one of many steps we are taking to improve the broader consumer journey.”
