Whirlpool appliances have been chosen for several major TV cookery series over the last twelve months, exposing the brand to a nationwide audience.
Following a TV placement campaign throughout 2013, Whirlpool will be maintaining the momentum this year with further exposure in major TV series. The brand has been chosen for several programme slots including the recently concluded My Kitchen Rules, hosted by award-winning Michelin starred Jason Atherton, and joined by chef and best-selling author Lorraine Pascale, who judged the new competitive cooking series. The programme featured kitchens decked with the Whirlpool Fusion built-in cooking range (pictured).
Whirlpool featured on the Great British Bake Off 2013, hosted by Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood, which enjoyed its most successful series ever. The final programme was viewed by nearly eight million people and Whirlpool’s Jet Chef combination microwave ovens proved a great asset to competitors.
Additionally, Whirlpool was selected to feature on Sunday Scoop, a mid-Sunday morning entertainment programme hosted by Nadia Sawalha and Kaye Adams.
Trade marketing manager for Whirlpool Juan Pillay commented: “The Whirlpool brand has enjoyed tremendous TV exposure over the past year on popular programmes that attract big audiences. We have been selected for further TV programmes to keep our great range of kitchen appliances in the spotlight.
“Programmes that offer a lively mix of entertainment and food are an ideal showcase for our contemporary Fusion range of appliances including ovens, microwaves, warming drawers, hobs, hoods, cooling products and dishwashers.”
