Appliance manufacturer Whirlpool has announced a series of live consumer events at Westfield Stratford City shopping centre in London.
Kicking off on Saturday February 20, Whirlpool is teaming up with macaron gurus Ohlala to demonstrate a range of Whirlpool cooking appliances, while offering delicious treats to shoppers of Westfield Stratford City shopping centre. Ohlala’s pastry chef Xing Ling will be demonstrating the art of achieving the perfect macaron; crispy on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside.
Over the next four weeks, the Whirlpool kitchen will be hosted by a unique line-up of chefs, demonstrating an array of cooking styles and techniques, the brand adds. The live campaign has been designed to engage passing shoppers, and to encourage them to share their experiences on social media.
Whirlpool senior brand manager Jennifer Spragg said: “Last year’s live campaign was such a great experience, that we couldn’t wait to get started in 2016. We hope to create a real buzz of excitement around the demonstration theatre, and offer the hungry shoppers some delicious treats, as well as recipes and ideas to try at home. We would love to invite everyone to come and visit the Whirlpool kitchen at the Westfield Stratford City shopping centre, which begins with Ohlala’s scrumptious macarons on February 20.”
