Multi-brand manufacturer Vestel has announced the appointment of its new UK managing director, Matthew Lang.
In his new role, Matthew will not only be responsible for the development of Vestel’s OEM business, but also for its brands including Sharp Home Appliances.
With twenty five years of experience within the consumer electronics and telecommunications sector, Matthew has built numerous sales and marketing organizations across the world, holding a number of board level positions including various CEO roles within Sony, Vestel adds.
Matthew commented: “I’m excited to come on board at such an important time in Vestel’s growth and evolution. Sharing the company’s huge ambition, I relish the challenge of realizing and driving its potential across new as well as existing channels.”
Vestel executive committee member Ahmet Erol added: “Utilising his background and thorough market experience, I am sure Matthew will help us to achieve our objective of sustainable and profitable growth across diverse business units in Vestel UK.”
