Electrolux Professional appliances have long featured in chef Tom Kitchin’s Michelin-starred restaurant, ‘The Kitchin’ and now Tom has selected Electrolux Inspiration appliances for his home kitchen.
“This was an easy choice for me,” said Tom. “I have been using Electrolux Professional appliances in The Kitchin since I opened it in 2006. Because the Electrolux Inspiration range incorporates many of the professional features on the appliances I use in my restaurant, it means I can create dishes to the same standard at home now.”
The appliances Tom has chosen for the kitchen in his Edinburgh home include the Electrolux TFT sous vide/steam oven and Sous Vide Vac Sealer Drawer which is new to the domestic market, the Electrolux TFT pyrolytic oven with InfinitePure 80cm induction hob, a side by side food centre which features a larder fridge and freezer, separated by a tall wine cellar and an Electrolux coffee machine, microwave oven and grill and warming drawer.
Tom commented: “The appliances look fabulous and are a dream to work with. It’s unbelievable what you can do with SousVide, not just in terms of cooking, but it also preserves meat and fish so well. It’s great for our family because we have young babies and I can make their food and then freeze it flat, so it takes up less space in the freezer. Using SousVide makes cooking so much easier.”
Tom’s kitchen has been designed by bespoke kitchen design company Riverside Kitchens (Elgin) Ltd.
Electrolux’s Inspiration range of domestic appliance has been created using Electrolux’s expertise in professional cooking.
