The deadline for the IER Awards entries is less than 2 weeks away…
With a range of categories for retailers and manufacturers, the Awards is designed to recognise and reward dedication to the industry and the achievements of the past twelve months. Industry members can nominate themselves or other retailers for as many categories as they are relevant for.
“From the manufacturers striving to provide the next technological development that will satisfy an ever-demanding consumer, to the retailers providing first class service and advice every day, the hard working and innovative people are those that have lasted through the tough times and provide the lifeblood of the industry,” said Gregor Muir, staff reporter for IER magazine. “It is those same people who deserve recognition for their work, beyond the success they see in their businesses.”
Taking place this year at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel in Kensington on the 12th March 2015, the annual IER Awards (formerly The Independent Business Awards) is now in its 23rd year. The night will once again be compered by industry favourite Richard Stevenson, followed by the comedic stylings of after dinner speaker and comedian Ian Irving. “I am really looking forward to being part of the IER Awards and I know it is going to be a very special event for all involved,” said Ian.
The Beatin’ Hearts will return to entertain guests with classic rock and blues after dinner. “The band are delighted to have been asked back to play again at the IER Awards following their last appearance at Whittlebury Hall in 2013,” said guitarist Mike Chandler. “We’re all very excited about the forthcoming evening and have put together a much wider song set with plenty of new numbers that people can dance to, so we’re sure everyone’s going to have a great night!”
