Clarity, the trade alliance for the UK’s hi-fi sector, has welcomed Adair Acoustic Design and Phase 3 Worthing as the latest retailers to join the growing list of members who understand and value the advantages of working together as an industry.
Adair Acoustic Design is the new business set up by hi-fi and custom installation expert Chris Adair. Operating from a showroom in London’s Clerkenwell district, the company offers audio consultancy and expert advice on everything from computer audio systems to headphones to record players.
Phase 3 Worthing is owned and operated by another well-known figure from the UK’s hi-fi industry, Roger Pearl. With over 50 years of combined experience between Roger and shop manager Paul Franks, Phase 3 provides bespoke solutions from a select number of high-end brands.
Welcoming the new members, Geoff Coleman, Clarity’s board director for recruitment, said: “We are very pleased to welcome these two new members to the Alliance. As a new business, Adair Acoustic Design is bringing something fresh to the hi-fi buying public in the heart of the capital. And Phase 3 has proven itself to be one of the long-standing survivors of the industry, continuing to serve those who appreciate really good hi-fi on the south coast.” He continues, “It is gratifying to see the Clarity message – that the industry is stronger if it works together – is understood by an increasing number of people and we look forward to working with both of these businesses to further the cause of good quality home entertainment.”
