The Tefal ActiFry range is to receive a boost from a £700,000 TV advertising campaign planned to run during the Easter sales period from March 23 to April 19, the manufacturer has unveiled.
Using a 20 second ad, the campaign aims to demonstrate how ActiFry is ‘the healthiest and most effective way of frying’, allowing the cooking of oil free chips from frozen, or using fresh potatoes cooking with one spoonful of oil ‘with only 3% fat’.
The campaign will also earmark the latest member of the ActiFry range – the ActiFry Express XL, a 1.5kg capacity low-fat fryer.
The campaign will run nationally and will be broadcast on a range of TV channels including ITV1, Channel 4, Channel 5, Daybreak and ‘Multichannel’.
Groupe SEB marketing manager Dominik Pytel said: “Tefal is famed for launching revolutionary products which change the market landscape. The ActiFry range continues to be a perfect example of this innovative strategy, combining healthy cooking with brilliant versatility. Retailers need to maximise this TV campaign at point-of-purchase.”
