Sirocco 550, is Pure’s latest internet-connected micro hi-fi system with digital radio, FM, CD and iPod/iPhone dock. Very powerful, with 80W RMS of stereo sound, Sirocco 550 is ideal for the main room in the house. Sirocco 550 incorporates PURE’s digital audio solution, Clearsound, which uses high-quality Class D amplifiers and digital audio shaping technology to deliver clear audio, high volume levels and low power consumption.
Using a Wi-Fi connection or optional Ethernet adaptor, Sirocco 550, enables the user to stream their digital music collection from a home PC computer or media server. It offers a wide range of audio sources including an iPod and iPhone dock and is part of Apple’s ‘Made for iPod’ and ‘Made for iPhone’ programmes. It also has a CD player, an input for USB flash drives, two auxiliary inputs and receives broadcast radio (digital and FM) and internet radio.
