Sony launches pocket PC

In Product News On

For those that want full PC capability on the go, Sony has introduced the VAIO UX1. Boasting a compact design and weighing in at just 480g, the gadget features integrated high-speed Wi-fi capability, along with a 4.5in widescreen LCD screen. Instead of a hard drive, the UX1 is equipped with 32GB of Flash memory, which uses less power than a hard drive and is immune to problems caused by vibration and shock.
Users have the choice of the keyboard, or stylus and touch screen operation, and the UX1 can easily be attached to a projector or monitor.

What’s more, there are two integrated cameras – one for video chat, with the option of a Bluetooth headset, and one at the back of the device for taking pictures.
