Italian appliance brand Smeg has announced the latest store to adopt its SmegZone ‘shop in a shop’ experience; Built In Kitchen Appliances, based in Anfield, Liverpool.
It joins the growing list of ‘shop in a shop’ sites, alongside Fenwick department store in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Cooks and Company in Newark, Avensys in Gatwick, Purewell Electrical in Christchurch, Borshch Electric in Birmingham, Hanson Electrical in Hull and Long Eaton Appliances in Nottingham.
The SmegZones are designed to support and enhance the Smeg experience in independent electrical retail stores, the company says, and the latest fit out in Liverpool houses over 80 of Smeg’s bestselling products within a prominent 100 square metre footprint.
SmegZones showcase built-in and freestanding ranges, including a wide selection of Smeg’s signature cooker collections, alongside side-by side refrigeration, dishwashing and washing machines, as well as sinks and taps to complete the look, the brand says.
The latest installation features a display decked with LED lighting, plinths, signage, sample materials and a colour palette synonymous with Smeg.
Built In Kitchen Appliances managing director Steve Woods said: “We’re really impressed with the use of space and how striking the area is aesthetically – reflecting Smeg’s design heritage and stand out products in an inspiring setting. We’re delighted with the display and look forward to capitalising on the extensive display.”
Smeg UK sales director Paul Barker added: “We’re delighted with the finished result of our latest SmegZone shop in a shop, the eighth and one of the largest of our new format.”
“We’re committed to working in collaboration with the team in Anfield to ensure the investment is a huge success and have already seen some great early results since its unveiling.”
