Appliance manufacturer Smeg has started the New Year on the small screen after appearing on new daytime ITV chat show Mel & Sue.
The programme, which airs weekdays between 4pm and 5pm, sees Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins joined by celebrities, a ‘real’ cook (as opposed to a TV chef) and other newsworthy guests who prepare a dish using Smeg appliances.
The products being put through their paces are the SE70SGH5 five-burner gas hob, two SFP390X 60cm pyrolytic multifunction ovens, which have an energy rating of A-20%, and the FQ55FX French door fridge-freezer.
Smeg brand manager John Davies commented: “Smeg was delighted to be selected to star on daytime TV show Mel & Sue where thousands of viewers are seeing exactly the kind of results that can be achieved using our high-quality, design-led appliances on a daily basis.”
