Smeg takes home seven accolades at Good Design Awards 2017

Italian manufacturer Smeg has announced that the brand took home seven accolades at the Good Design Awards 2017 in Chicago, Illinois, for both its small and major domestic appliances.

For 2017, Smeg was awarded seven of the prizes for the following products: Dolce Stil Novo Blast Chiller, 60cm Linea oven, 45cm Linea oven, 90cm Opera range cooker, HBF02 Hand Blender, CJF01 Citrus Juicer and ECF01 Coffee Machine. Each appliance was recognised for its design by an international jury of architects, designers and creative directors.

The Good Design Awards are organised annually by The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design in cooperation with the European Centre for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies. Founded in 1950, the programme highlights the pinnacle of new consumer products, graphics and packaging designed and manufactured in Europe, Asia, Africa, plus North and South America.
