Electrical appliance and kitchen retail buying group Sirius Buying Group celebrated the success of its annual VIP Members Trade Show, the 17th version of the event, in September.
With record numbers in terms of attendance and business taken, the annual trade show took place on September 18 and 19 2018 at Forest of Arden Marriot Hotel & Country Club, Warwickshire, with the Awards Gala Dinner on the evening of September 19.
Sirius Buying Group’s AGM provided members with the group’s YTD performance, latest business strategies and Member benefits available to them for the coming year. It also provided an opportunity for Sirius Members to take the floor and express key ideas to improve demand, as well as determine how they can successfully implement growth across the board within a mutually beneficial open-forum.
On Wednesday the Sirius VIP Member Trade Show opened its doors and this year’s footfall exceeded all previous years, with over 300 manufacturers, distributors, retailers and installers from within the kbb electrical appliance industry in attendance.
This year hosted the group’s Approved Suppliers, new and existing, and those present included: Rangemaster, CDA, RKW, GDHA, Gorenje, Hoover Candy Group, Liebherr, Samsung, Smeg, Symphony, Whirlpool, AB Distributors, Connect, D.A.D, EPE Group, Caple, Portway, and Swift. Each Approved Supplier took advantage of being able to communicate directly to its customers, demonstrating the new opportunities available to Sirius Members via attractive display plans, promotional offers and the latest innovative products to help drive new business to the independents.
