Brooke House Exhibitions, the organisers of Exclusively Housewares & Exclusively Electrical, has announced details of its initiative with the Sirius Buying Group for the 2018 shows.
Agreement has also been reached with the electrical appliance buying group Sirius to hold a convention of their members on the first day of the show. The convention will be staged on the Atrium level of the Gallery Hall above Exclusively Electrical. As a result, the show is expecting to draw new retailers of small domestic appliances to the event with attendance set to be promoted to the Sirius membership.
Show director Simon Boyd commented: “We are delighted to have reached agreement to work closely with Sirius to support the independent sector. The Exclusively shows offer retailers an excellent opportunity to view the latest innovation in homewares, table top and SDA products ahead of the key Christmas buying period and into Spring 2019.”
Founded in 2001, the Sirius Buying Group now comprises 162 members and 250 retail outlets, offering an extensive collection of home appliance and kitchen retail brands. Through specially negotiated terms with its Approved Suppliers, Sirius provides a cost effective platform for industry suppliers and retailers to benefit from their collective association, with buying power in excess of £100m, the company says.
