The Sirius Buying Group has announced the launch of a new facet of the group, aimed at kitchen retail and studio specialists.
The Group says it is aiming to replicate the attributes to the benefit of white goods retailers of the existing buying group, and progressively extend its practices into the kitchen market.
Sirius chairman Gordon Jones commented: “Providing a simple, effective process for the independent to compete is the foundation of the Sirius Buying Group. Members are provided with a host of benefits by being part of a respected group whilst retaining individual independence, as members’ direct trading relationship with preferred suppliers continues.”
In association with the Sirius Buying Group, arrangements and terms are in place with ‘leading kitchen appliance and furniture brands’ to complement the professional market of independent kitchen specialists, the Group says.
The Group has built relationships with its preferred manufacturers and distributors over the years for its network of 240 retail outlets throughout the UK, which boast a trade purchasing power in excess of £100m, Sirius says. The Group’s management team (pictured) will be on Stand G 130 at KBB for retailers wishing to learn more.
Steve Woods of Built-in Kitchen Appliances in Liverpool, added: “Independent retailers work extremely hard to run a profitable and progressive business. Being a member of Sirius has a multitude of benefits besides supporting margin.”
