Showcase events promote Off The Wall’s expansion

British TV furniture manufacturer Off The Wall Limited held two trade events in London and at its factory in Bradford to showcase its expanded brand portfolio, together with two new concepts in TV furniture, designed to benefit both the consumer and retailer.

Over 40 buyers representing leading multiple and independent CE and furniture retailers from around the UK attended the events, where nine new ranges of Off The Wall TV stand/cabinets were on display together with selected products from European designer TV furniture brand, Norstone.

The event was designed to exhibit the increased depth of range from the company, with a variety of designs, styles and colours available, including ones purpose built for the latest Soundbar/base products from Sonos. ‘Supplied fully assembled’ options will also be offered on key ranges, providing hassle-free benefits to the consumer, Off the Wall adds.

As part of Off The Wall’s market extension strategy, two new ‘firsts’ in the TV furniture industry were also unveiled.  To complement five current and new ranges were a collection of occasional furniture products including side tables, coffee tables and nests of tables. Each collection is designed to complement the TV cabinet/stand and offer that secondary purchase opportunity with healthy furniture margins, the company says.

Secondly, Off The Wall launched another new concept in TV furniture – ‘Select’. Until now only premium price furniture could be specified to the consumer’s choice of colour, finish etc. With OTW’s new Select concept, retailers will be able to display the dedicated POS stand with two different sized products for the consumer to choose their own cabinet colour and finish, door material, colour and feet designs, with up to 180 configurations, delivered to the retailer or consumer within seven days from order and with prices from £299.

Off the Wall sales manager Phil McDonald commented: “Design, style, innovation and quality has always been what sets Off The Wall apart from the competition. With our new ranges for 2017/18 they take that philosophy a step further. The creation of complementary occasional furniture ranges, ‘delivered assembled’ options and our new ‘Select’ spec. your own furniture cabinets will take the company to the next level in terms of status and growth, all driven from demand from our loyal consumer electronics and furniture retail customers. This means we can now offer a greater choice of products and brands without the need for increased supplier management.”
