Samsung UK has launched its first UK Cookery School in affiliation with kitchen appliance retailer Nailsea Electrical. Set in a church conversion on Bristol’s busy Gloucester Road, 102 Cookery School will offer a variety of classes in an informal atmosphere for novice and experienced cooks.
The Cookery School will play host to a number of classes and courses, including ‘demonstration and dine’ evenings led by the south west’s finest Michelin Starred and AA Rosette rated chefs. The school features Samsung kitchen appliances including Samsung Dual Cook ovens, Samsung AnyPlace induction hobs and Samsung Steam Compacts.
Classes will range from ‘Knife Skills’ to ‘Bread Master Classes’ and ‘Tutored Wine Tastings’. Authentic ethnic classes will be also on offer including Indian, Thai and Jamaican. Events already planned include seasonal foraging and cooking along with wild food ‘demonstration and dine’ evenings with expert Toby Gritten who appeared on Channel 4’s Jamie’s Great Britain last November and monthly live cookery and wine paring with Michelin-starred Josh Eggleton of The Pony and Trap.
Nick Bevan, product manager for Samsung Home Appliances said “Samsung is thrilled to be part of 102 Cookery School. We’re excited to work with top local chefs in Samsung’s very first UK cookery school venture and are looking forward to giving everyone the opportunity to use our leading technology.”
