Shoppers walking past John Lewis stores have recently been greeted with a window display showcasing the new Samsung curved UHD TVs.
Samsung and John Lewis have dedicated sixteen window displays throughout the UK, to show off the latest Samsung Curved UHD TVs, which in the flagship stores is synchronised to run across six TVs.
The displays were created by m4 Design Company, who have specialised in the CE and Electricals market for over thirty years. As every window was a different size and shape each display had to be bespoke, but followed the same curved graphic theme which m4 first devised for Samsung in JLP for the launch of curved UHD TVs for print, 2D and 3D Retail POS.
All of the windows were installed over a three day period from September 1 and will be in place until October 20.
Samsung channel marketing manager Tracey Woods said: “M4 are A1 on taking on large, complex projects within short timescales, three weeks in this case, and this project was delivered with remarkable ease given that I went off on holiday for two weeks. 16 windows of differing sizes all needed to deliver a compelling ‘Curve Story’, from a one screen execution to six screens in the largest format. The windows have been a significant element to our wider campaign around category creation and have been a talking piece for consumers when they’ve visited the Vision Department .”
M4 client services director Jo Thomson added: “We were really pleased to once again support Samsung and John Lewis with a major visual merchandising display across 16 of the UK stores, and believe that this highly innovative collaboration will lead to improved consumer understanding of the product benefits by seeing the Curved UHD TV for themselves. Our brief was to come up with a stunning display in a very short time and to budget – which, judging by customer feedback and engagement from passers-by, we have certainly achieved.”
