Russell Hobbs’ Vistra kettle uses striking colour coded lights to tell users what stage of boiling it’s at.
Blue indicates that the kettle is plugged in, purple that it’s boiling and red means that the kettle is in ‘keep warm’ mode.
The rapid-boil kettle has a 1.7-litre capacity and also includes a cordless base and removable washable water filter to prevent limescale reaching the user’s drink.
