English tabletop music systems manufacturer Ruark Audio has announced its launch of U.S. operations on July 1 2015.
Company founder Alan O’Rourke explained: “We’ve waited a number of years for this to happen, but we had to get the timing and offer exactly right. Ruark Audio has got many fans in the US and we are really looking forward to servicing their enthusiastic demand for our beautiful tabletop music systems.
“Many of those making inquiries have experienced our high-end designs in some of the world’s leading hotels, such as the Savoy Hotel in London.
“Ruark Audio has won close to 100 industry awards, including multiple accolades from What Hi-Fi? Sound and Vision, so we are confident we have our product right,” Alan added. “Our mid-century aesthetic also appeals to discerning design-led consumers, as do successful limited edition collaborations with Osborne & Little and Selfridges.”
Since its establishment over 30 years ago, the Southend-based company says it has innovated to stay in tune and drive consumer and sector developments with the move to the US being the latest part of that evolution.
Since July 1, Ruark Audio’s products have been made available to purchase directly from its new US-specific e-commerce website. Ruark Audio has also established a dedicated US office and warehouse, headed by William Griffiths, which will process and ship orders around the country from its Jupiter, FL, base.
William commented: “We know that the consumer market in the U.S. for high-specification and stylish small audio devices is one of the most competitive in the world, and we look forward to showing the US the quality Ruark Audio has in abundance.
“All of us here are very excited by the prospect of launching the first US models in Ruark Audio’s range: the MR1 wireless speaker system; the R1 with Bluetooth; and the limited edition Osborne & Little R1. We are also very much looking forward to engaging with our customer base and US market to continue the next stage of Ruark Audio’s development.”
