RKW is distributing the Fusion Juicer on the back of a £3 million, targeted promotional campaign which will roll out over the next two years and is reportedly designed to drive customers direct to stores. The Fusion Juicer will be in stock from July 4.
RKW electrical buying director John Knight says: “This product will lead the Juicer Revolution. Over 6 million Fusion Juicer units have been sold in the US in the last 18 months. There are fast juicers and slow juicers, but the Fusion Juicer ‘fuses’ the very best of these technologies to produce the finest quality juice – super fast.
“Juicing is forecast to be the next big thing, because health statements are recommending an increase from ‘five a day’ to ‘seven a day’. You throw in the ingredients and, in seconds, you have a delicious, colourful smoothie or juice, full of health-giving nutrients, minerals and vitamins.”
A pre-launch publicity push included ‘Super Juice Me’ – a five-week documentary series on Channel 5, in which juicing guru Jason Vale explored the question, ‘Can juicing help improve or relieve various medical conditions?’ The documentary featured a host of celebrities taking part.
The Fusion Juicer media campaign will include an infomercial, plus TV, radio and press advertising and features, along with nationwide roadshows, juicing events and juicing shows, featuring Jason and the Fusion Juicer.
RKW is the exclusive distributor of over 20 juice extractors, across a number of brands – Fusion Juicer, Novis, Tower, Elgento and Nutrimaster – offering a wide range of price points, colourways and capacities, plus a range of juicing accessories.
