Consumer electronics manufacturer Pure announced that its new colourful speaker grille accessories for the Jongo multiroom music system will be available from April 2014.
The two new collections, ‘Neutral’ and ‘Vibrant’ (pictured), are reportedly based on the latest global colour trends. The ’Neutral’ collection features Slate, Salted Caramel, Sandstone and Nettle and the ’Vibrant’ colour collection comprises Vermillion, Royal Blue, Lilac and Mango.
John Lewis Partnership assistant buyer, audio and gaming, Jason King said: “Colour has long been a trend with home appliances such as kettles and toasters and recently we have seen this trend emerging in the consumer electronics world. In fact, we saw huge demand at Christmas for colour in products from smartphones to speakers as customers look for products that make a statement or match their décor and early indications from sales so far this year suggests that this demand is set to continue.”
Pure’s marketing director Nick Hucker commented: “Personalisation is a growing trend and fashion is increasingly influencing the design of the latest gadgets. Colours are everywhere and we want to ensure that our customers have the latest on-trend colourways to choose from when they are accessorising their Jongo speakers. The colours we have chosen are based on both 2014 colour trend reports and consumer research so we are confident our customers will find the perfect match for their home décor or mood.”
The new speaker grilles will be available from April.
