AT the annual CIH show in Birmingham, PURE unveiled its ‘PURE Select’ retail partner programme, which will create a top tier of retail locations in the UK providing the best possible PURE in-store experience.
PURE Select retail partners will be expected to offer customers a high level of product knowledge and the opportunity to view market leading products as well as the ability to receive demonstrations of digital radio and internet audio in-store.
Peter Blampied, director of sales for PURE explained to IER the rationale of the scheme: “Consumers now expect quality demonstrations and good advice from qualified sales personnel when purchasing an advanced consumer electronics product. For this reason, PURE is investing in identifying and branding a small number of ‘PURE Select’ partners to work more closely on getting across our unique digital radio and internet-connected digital radio offering in a positive and friendly manner. PURE Select partners will benefit from enhanced trading terms and a closer relationship with us. If a partner is interested then they should register their interest at tradesales@pure.com or discuss it with their PURE area sales executive.”
To qualify, ‘PURE Select’ partners will need to meet a set of criteria including having digital radio reception and Wi-Fi in-store.
PURE is currently in discussion with CIH in order to fully roll out the programme to selected members.
