COINCIDING with Evoke- 1’s fifth birthday, PURE has launched Evoke-1S, the third generation of Evoke product, which is an enhanced version of Evoke- 1 – the world’s best selling digital radio. Since its launch in 2002, PURE has manufactured over 500,000 Evoke-1 family products.
EVOKE-1S’ new features include the optional ChargePAK giving the user up to 24 hours of portable listening, textSCAN and Intellitext which allow users to pause and control scrolling text as well as to store it for browsing at a later date.
Other new features are: a graphical OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) display, providing clear readability from any angle; a light sensor which automatically adjusts display brightness; more station presets (30 DAB or FM in a combined list); an auxiliary input to connect an iPod or MiniDisc player; and FM with RDS for maximum station choice.
Improvements in electronics and porting give the EVOKE-1S enhanced audio.
The optional S-1 standalone speaker enables stereo output and even richer, deeper bass.
