Portway Domestic Appliances has announced the appointment of Jack White as sales director.
Jack (pictured) has been with the company for eight years, working up through the business from his first role as a warehouse assistant.
Commercial director John Bainbridge said: “Jack’s an outstanding sales professional with a huge personality. It’s obvious Jack loves the business and his enthusiasm is infectious. Jack has been learning the distribution business since he left school and will no doubt be a huge part of its future.”
Jack added: “I’ve been involved in the business since before I can remember, it’s in my blood. The team at Portway has always encouraged my involvement in the company and I’m thrilled to be part of the future growth of the business.”
Jack, who was formerly a sales representative for Portway, actually started as sales director at the end of 2014.
Portway is a private limited company specialising in the national distribution of white goods brands to independent electrical retailers.
