Protective cases manufacturer Pelican Products is celebrating its 40th anniversary throughout 2016.
Having started in commercial protection products, used in extreme environments around the world and used by military, fire, law enforcement, aerospace and industrial professionals, Peli launched its first consumer products in 2012.
Pelican president and chief executive Lyndon Faulkner commented: “Pelican has been on an amazing journey from its beginnings in a garage in 1976 to becoming the global power in the design and manufacture of the toughest products in their categories. Our continued success is a testament to the people who have contributed their ideas, vision, enthusiasm and hard work over the years.”
The company created three distinct divisions in 2015, covering commercial, consumer and biothermal.
The consumer division includes protective cases for mobile phones and tablets, coolers, luggage and lighting systems. Since introducing its smartphone and consumer electronics case line in 2014, the company has continued to launch new products into the market, including its latest Guardian models for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.
