Panasonic has partnered with the UK’s leading provider of appliance care, Domestic & General (D&G), as their exclusive after care warranty provider for both Panasonic TV & Imaging products. The exclusive partnership will last for six years and will be available for products bought in store and online.

Serving 1 in 3 households across the UK, this is the latest international partnership for D&G and further cements the company’s position within the consumer electric goods market, enabling the company to serve a further 2 million Panasonic customers.

The collaboration started in September in the United Kingdom and aims to expand into Germany and Italy shortly afterwards, followed by other territories where D&G already has a presence to create a pan-European alliance.

Mark Robinson, Head of Customer Service, Panasonic North West Europe, said: “Panasonic is pleased to be able to offer our customers additional peace of mind through our partnership with Domestic & General. Our products are noted for their reliability and long-life so the extra reassurance that comes from accidental damage cover will be a welcome additional service we can offer to our customers. This partnership will importantly also help our customers extend the usable life of their products resulting in less waste and a positive impact on the environment.”

Kam Kandola, Sales Director of Domestic & General added: “We’re delighted to have partnered exclusively with Panasonic for the next six years. We believe their customers will value and benefit from the products and services on offer both in the UK and soon, across Europe. During these uncertain times, it is more important than ever to ensure that the products customers rely on can be repaired quickly, efficiently and effectively, wherever they are in the world.”
