UK brand Otone Audio has enjoyed a boost to product sales following a partnership with Paramount Pictures around the latest Transformers movie, it says.
Retailers around the UK have been taking part in a display competition which Otone says has helped to drive sales and awareness of the brand, as well as the Transformers: Age of Extinction movie. The promotion featured products from Otone’s Bluetooth docking and soundbar ranges, including the SoundShip.
In addition, one consumer will be taking their family to Hollywood for three nights with a trip around the Paramount Studios where the movie was filmed.
Three other winners will take home a Soundship micro Bluetooth smart dock in a giveaway running until mid-August. Otone has already taken two competition winners to the UK premiere of the new movie at the BFI IMAX in London, to enjoy the movie ahead of release along with a host of celebrities.
Otone marketing executive Adam Leach said: “We were approached by Paramount Pictures to partner with them and now, nearing the end of the promotion, we are delighted with the results. The promotion has helped to drive consumers into our retailers’ stores during a fairly quiet period. It has also worked well to increase consumer awareness of our brand and give sales staff something exciting to talk about, as well as providing the opportunity of a fantastic prize for a very lucky family of four.”
