Peter Spencer has been appointed Electrolux General Manager UK & Ireland, reporting to Chris Braam, SVP Sales and Aftermarket Service, Electrolux Major Appliances Europe.
Peter joins Electrolux from Akzo Nobel Decorative, where he was Sales Director.

Peter brings considerable sales and commercial knowledge to the business and will play a pivotal role in continuing to build on the strong brand portfolio and grow our market share in UK and Ireland. These are two key markets for EMA Europe and the development of the UK and Ireland over the next three years will be an important component of Electrolux’s European growth,” says Chris Braam.
Prior to Akzo Nobel Decorative, Peter worked for Constellation Europe, a large wine company with operations in the UK, Europe and South Africa, including brands like Hardy’s and Kumala. During this period, his roles were Managing Director of Gaymer Cider Company, SVP UK Wine Sales and Sales & Marketing Director for Matthew Clark Cider. Earlier in Spencer’s career he held several sales and marketing positions at Coca Cola and Esso Petroleum.
Peter takes over from Ian Banes who has taken on the role of SVP Product Line Home Comfort, Channel and Sales Development for Electrolux Major Appliances EMEA
Peter Spencer will start his new position on 31st March 2014 and will be based in Luton.
