Appliance manufacturer Glen Dimplex Home Appliances (GDHA) has announced the appointment of two new heads of category within its sales and marketing team.
Daniel Connell has been appointed as head of category – freestanding cooking for Stoves, Belling and New World. Dan had previously been product manager for Lec until 2009. He re-joined the business in 2013 to work on the range cooking category across Belling and Stoves, after a spell with Hoover Candy and Russell Hobbs.
Ben Peach (pictured) has been named as interim head of category – non-cooking appliances and refrigeration, looking after integrated products, hoods, splashbacks and cooling products across all the Belling, Stoves, Lec and New World brands. Ben, who has been with GDHA for four years, was previously product manager for Lec and across the freestanding category.
Sales and marketing director David Garden said: “We’re delighted to have all our team in place. Ben and Daniel know the business and the market well and will bring valuable experience to the team as we look to grow the brands and our market share.”
