The latest line of Smeg’s cooking appliances created by the renowned Australian designer Marc Newson clearly reflects his unmistakable style. It is expressed in the soft lines of the products and their user friendly features. The range, including ovens, gas hobs and induction hobs, is characterized by the use of bold colours combined with stainless steel or glass.
The pyrolytic FP610 ovens are available in a range of colours, including bright shades of blue, yellow and green. The oven also has an intuitive touch control command-based display with large graphics. The top of the range models have a 68-litre capacity, five cooking levels and telescopic guide rails that come as standard.
A distinctive feature of the Marc Newson gas hobs is the position of the control knobs mirroring the positions of the burners, making operation very intuitive. The vertical flame delivers more power to the pan, allowing a significant energy saving and faster cooking. The 75 cm hobs are available with an enamel finish in blue, yellow, green, white, or black; or in stainless steel.
The Marc Newson induction hobs also come in a range of colours and feature the commands that mirror the positions of the induction zones. The top of the range models boast up to 4.6kW of power. The range includes models from 30, to 60 and 90cm wide in a choice of grey, gold or red brick. The 90cm hob is also available in a ‘horizontal’ version, with three in-line induction zones, and a reduced depth of 35cm.
