Appliance manufacturer Smeg has announced it
is joining forces with Bentalls in Kingston upon Thames for the second consecutive year to help get shoppers in the mood for Valentine’s Day with a seasonal promotion.
From February 12 to 15, Bentalls will unveil a specially created Valentine’s Day display –styled into a kitchen set with the help of Smeg’s FAB28QR 50s style refrigerator in red, TR4110 Victoria range cooker in cream and small domestic appliances –featuring a photo lounge.
Throughout the four days, customers will be invited to strike a pose and have their picture taken in the photo lounge. As well as receiving up to four photographs to take home, customers can tuck into a red velvet cupcake and will also be in with a chance of winning one of Smeg’s colourful stand mixers.
On Saturday 14 and Sunday 15, a team of chefs and home economists will utilise the living kitchen area within Bentalls to show shoppers how to create the red velvet cupcakes themselves, using Smeg’s stand mixers.
Pictures will be uploaded onto Bentalls Facebook page and the person judged to have submitted the best photograph will win a stand mixer.
