Linsar has announced a new consumer campaign whereby every purchaser of one of their large screen Smart TVs (32in to 50in) from their 2014 range will receive a Roku HDMI streaming stick free of charge.
The Roku stick, which normally retails at £50, allows consumers to stream more than 750 channels including all of the catch-up channels such as BBC iPlayer, ITV player, 4oD and Demand 5. It also gives access to subscription services such as Netflix and NOW TV. The promotion is running from now until December 31 or until stocks last, Linsar says.
The free Roku stick will be available to redeem via Linsar’s website when consumers sign up for their free 5-year warranties or register their products.
Linsar director Terry Reed said: “We are absolutely delighted to be working in conjunction with Roku in offering this tremendous promotion and we are expecting it to help our products really fly off the shelves this season. It is something we have been working on for a while as a result of demand from our retailers for all catch up services to be available on Linsar large screen TVs. And it’s just another example of how we listen and act upon what our valued retailer customers have to say.”
