Linsar has unveiled an in-store display competition for retailers for the peak season.
Linsar wants entrants to use its recently launched light boxes and header boards, in addition to their five-year warranty and other POS materials, for a chance to win prizes for proprietors and shop staff. Entries can be based on either brown or white goods from Linsar.
The competition starts on November 1 and runs until Christmas Eve.
The prize for the top store’s owner is £1500 worth (ex VAT) of Linsar product at RSP. The runner up will receive £750 worth of product and the third placed shop will receive £500 worth of product. Prizes will also be given for the shop staff of the winning stores, including goodie bags with Linsar and ‘Dealer’ branded polo shirts and Wolverine DVDs.
There will also be a ‘special prize’ of a luxury food hamper for the designer of each winning in-store display.
Linsar director Terry Reed commented: “Having recently provided retailers with a wealth of promotional support material, we are confident that our 2014 in-store Christmas display competition will definitely be our biggest and our best yet. We’re really looking forward to seeing the results and are sure that they will greatly help boost sales of our product in this very important period too.”
The promotional support material recently made available to retailers includes light boxes bearing the Linsar name and header boards. Linsar has revamped its website and it now includes online stock-checking for retailers. Retailers are now also able to include more details about themselves by personalising their listings on the website and Linsar has produced a range of product and corporate videos which retailers can use in-store or on their own websites.
Terry added: “We have invested quite heavily on this promotional support as we are confident that it will help retailers further promote our brand in store and beyond. And that has got to be good news for all of us.”
