Appliance manufacturer AEG has announced that one of its premier partners has been shortlisted for a prestigious award.
Glasgow-based Silver Birch Interiors has been shortlisted for the Scottish Home Improvement Awards 2016 in the ’Best Kitchen Company’ category.
After taking the plunge into self-employment in 2007, young entrepreneur Alan MacGregor grafted in the kitchen industry for eight years before setting up his first business in 2012. Fast forward just four years and the company has tripled its turnover and is working on projects worth more than £20,000. Today, the company designs luxury kitchens for clients in Scotland and specifies AEG appliances for their design and quality.
Silver Birch founder and managing director Alan MacGregor said: ”At Silver Birch we are dedicated to offering clients a tailored service, innovative design and beautiful products and brands that will complement the final look. Being recognised for our approach to interior design is an absolute honour and something we never expected when we started out four years ago”.
AEG kitchen studios and retail distribution national sales manager Louise Stalker added: “Silver Birch Interiors is fantastic example of how the personalised, independent approach reigns supreme when it comes to kitchen design. Launching our AEG premier partner scheme in 2014 was our way of showing that we have listened to the feedback of independent business owners like Alan. Becoming a premier partner offers a smooth, hassle-free transition into the Electrolux family so that business-owners can focus on what’s important to them.”
AEG will sponsor the Scottish Home Improvement Awards at a gala ceremony that will place Radisson Hotel in Glasgow on June 17, 2016.
