The awards, which have aimed to recognise the best in photographic equipment for the past 38 years, were split into different categories for cameras, software, printers, accessories and lenses, as well as the Good Service Awards for retailers.

The Good Service Awards are presented to photography retailers who stand out from the rest in terms of being the best place to buy a camera, and who provide the right information and the right products at a good price, Jessops adds.

Jessops chairman Peter Jones commented: “All credit goes to the team. I’ve just been lucky enough to back them. Two years ago lots of people lost their jobs. Now hundreds of amazing people work for Jessops and made it great again. I’m very proud of what we’ve achieved.”
