Jessops has announced the opening of its 50th store, rounding off what it describes as a successful year of expansion in 2015. The new concession officially opens its doors to Christmas shoppers today, Thursday December 17, at Sainsbury’s in Emersons Green, Bristol.
Other key expansions for Jessops in 2015 included a new flagship location in Norwich, a welcomed return to Preston, and the successful partnership with Sainsbury’s that has seen concessions brought to eleven supermarket locations, with more to come in 2016, the retailer adds. This December alone, Jessops has opened three new shops – in Exeter, Cambridge and Bristol – just in time to offer expert photography and camera advice to local communities during the busy Christmas trading period.
Jessops chief executive Neil Old commented: “The opening of Jessops at Emersons Green concludes a very successful year for Jessops. In 2015, our vision has been executed perfectly with fourteen new store openings, allowing us to bring our fantastic service to even more customers around the country. We are incredibly excited to be expanding the business, and at the same time reassured by winning several customer voted awards which shows our ongoing commitment to making sure every shopping experience is unforgettable.”
