Manufacturer Indesit has announced that it has agreed a three-year partnership extension with Arsenal Football Club.
Three years on from its debut as an official partner, Indesit says that its involvement with the sport has ‘significantly strengthened brand awareness’ and ‘proven effective in promoting its values in the marketplace’.
From the start of the 2014/15 season, Indesit will also be the Presenting Partner of the Junior Gunners, Arsenal’s official young supporters’ club, increasing the brand’s presence throughout the Junior Gunners programme.
Indesit group marketing executive director Neil Tunstall says: “We are extremely pleased about this important renewal with Arsenal Football Club. It signals an important step for Indesit Company, which strongly believes that sponsorships provide a fertile terrain for engagement – not simply a way to boost brand visibility.”
The extension of the partnership will be marked by the appearance of the ‘Arsenal Family Festival powered by Indesit’ at Camp Bestival at Lulworth Castle from July 31 to August 3.
Parents and children visiting the festival will be able to get into the spirit of the beautiful game at the interactive trailer, and take part in a series of football-themed activities. If the football ends in some dirty kit, says Indesit, visitors will be able to test out the Innex washer dryer at its retro festival launderette.
