IFA organisers have announced that Harman CEO Dinesh Paliwal will deliver a keynote address at IFA 2015.
In his keynote, entitled ‘Smart Audio: The gate to new busiess relationships is open’, Paliwal (pictured) will address how the new age of smart devices will open up new business opportunities for the audio industry and how companies can benefit from this trend. He will also discuss what challenges smart audio poses to the industry and share examples of pioneering innovations.
Paliwal’s keynote is scheduled for Saturday, September 5 2015 at 10:30 am, at the CityCube event hall on the Messe Berlin fairgrounds in Berlin, Germany.
Messe Berlin CEO Christian Göke commented: “As smart devices continue to be our lifeline and connection to the world around us, smart audio is an important part of the equation. Harman delivers innovative audio solutions that are helping the smart device revolution reach the next level.”
Smart audio, which includes both built-in car infotainment systems and at home systems through networked speakers, plays a pivotal role in consuming and connecting users with content within the world around them, the event organisers say. Audio manufacturers and developers must look beyond single purpose products and consider smart audio to ensure they are benefitting from the networked world with billions of end user customer devices.
Dinesh Paliwal has led Harman International Industries as chairman, president and chief executive officer since July 2007. The company includes the brands AKG, Harman Kardon, Infinity, JBL, Lexicon, Mark Levinson, and Revel, among others.
