Hoover has launched its first collection of connected air purifiers – H-PURIFIER 300, 500 and 700 – to help combat dusty, dirty and unhealthy air, and to improve wellbeing within the home.
Shockingly, air quality in the home can be up-to five-times worse than outdoor air quality, due to the presence of fine dust, bacteria, detergent residues, fumes from the kitchen and pet hair.
With the constant growth of respiratory diseases and the alarming prediction of a 50 per cent increase in allergies over the next five years*, Hoover’s H-PURIFIERS are an intelligent solution for a healthier and safer home environment.
Complete with an Allergy UK seal of approval from the British Allergy Foundation, the Hoover H-PURIFIER features real-time multi-sensors and provides 360° air purification. Connected through the hOn app, all three models – H-PURIFIER 300, H-PURIFIER 500 and H-PURIFIER 700 – have three settings, auto, max & sleep mode (just 21dBA) and will service any room up to 100m².
Complete with a CO (Carbon Monoxide) sensor, the Hoover H-PURIFER can also detect Volatile Organic Compounds and monitor the room humidity.
Designed for superior air purification, the H-PURIFIER’S cylindrical shape allows more efficient airflow. The H-Trifilter delivers triple filtering, with the outer layer intercepting the largest particles. The middle layer features a HEPA (H13) filter, removing 99.97 per cent of particles and capturing airborne allergens such as pollen, dust mites and bacteria. Finally, the Active Carbon filter removes harmful gases and odours from detergents, solvents and gases.
Once allergens and pollutants are captured and filtered through the H-Trifilter, the 360° AirFlow system spreads completely clean and purified air all around, reaching the whole room in a fast and efficient way.
With a simple touch-control, the unit will provide air quality updates and warnings via the app or coloured ring around the control panel.
In addition to the H-PURIFIER 300’s capabilities, the H-PURIFIER 500 and H-PURIFIER 700 feature an oil diffuser to add fresh fragrances and probiotics. The H-PURIFIER 700 model comes complete with a humidifier.
Dave Matthews, business director at Hoover SDA, said: “As the founder of the vacuum cleaner, it makes complete sense for us to convert that R&D into improving air quality.
“Similar technology used in our air purifiers features in some vacuums to help clean the air that’s redistributed into the home, so this is a natural progression for Hoover.
“With people spending so much time inside during 2020, the home has served as an office, meeting room, nursery, school and gym, so it’s absolutely vital that the living space is op optimum quality.”
The H-PURIFIER range is launching in Q1 2020.
