Domestic appliance manufacturer Hoover Candy Group has announced that it has secured Good Housekeeping endorsement for both its Discovery and Discovery Pets handheld stick vacuums.
The floorcare products underwent thorough testing for design, ease of use, performance and quality of instructions and have met the standards set out by experts at the Good Housekeeping Institute.
Hoover SDA head of marketing Phillip Jones commented: “We know how important independent reviews are to consumers, so we’re delighted that our products have passed Good Housekeeping’s rigorous testing procedures.
“Good Housekeeping is a trusted and credible brand and one that aligns well with Hoover’s own visions and values. Like us, the organisation prides itself on keeping the consumer at the forefront of everything it does. The Institute’s testing process is designed purely from a consumer’s point of view, so it’s no surprise its reviews are valued so highly.
“Discovery has been a game-changer in our product portfolio and utilises revolutionary HSpin-Core Technology, unique to Hoover, to deliver optimum performance. The models were a catalyst for a number of new models launching this year, have featured in a national advertising campaign and are a great example of how Hoover has never stopped innovating since its inception in 1908.”
Philip added: “When developing our Discovery collection we invested significantly in R&D to ensure it offers fantastic performance and stylish design and we’re delighted that Good Housekeeping has acknowledged this with its ‘approved’ accreditation.”
