Hughes Electrical’s 25th anniversary Hometech show promises to the biggest ever with around 50 trade stands featuring manufacturers, plus a host of leading chefs giving live cooking demonstrations, including 2016 Great British Bake-Off winner Candice Brown, while it will again be raising money for a local charity.

It is being held at the Norfolk Showground on October 20-22 and has free entry and car parking.

Manufacturers including Samsung, Panasonic, Sony, Asus, Stoves, Belling and Hotpoint will all be there, as will Ecovacs with its range of robotic vacuum cleaners.

The show will also incorporate a farmer’s market offering a wide selection of the best of local produce.

Hometech show manager Austin Redgrave said: “We are delighted the industry continues to support us so strongly, with a record number of stands, as the show celebrates its silver jubilee. It is the largest consumer focused electronics show outside London and a real bonus for the area.

“It has a ‘Cooking Demonstration Theatre’ which will feature top baker Candice Brown on Saturday, October 21. Also appearing are Jamie Mountford who has appeared in Master Chef The Professionals; Norfolk’s award winning Andy Snowling and there will also be a butchery demonstration.

“We are very pleased that Great Yarmouth’s own gold medal winning Paralympic swimmer, Jessica-Jane Applegate will be joining us.”

He added: “Hughes invests heavily in putting on the event to give people the chance to see, touch and try the very latest electronic goods, some of which are not even on sale yet.

“In addition to the Cooking Theatre many exhibitors will be giving demonstrations which will all help to make it a real family day out and last year we had over 10,000 attend the show.”

Visitors will be able to support the charity ‘Care for Clare’ which raises money to support the Norwich based Clare School – a specialist physical/sensory & complex needs school that caters for pupils from three to 19 years of age.

People can buy raffle tickets to win a variety of prizes donated by Hughes and other exhibitors, while Belkin will be fitting phone screen protectors in return for a donation to the charity.
