Consumer electronics manufacturer Hisense UK Ltd has expanded its operation with the announcement of two new appointments.
Tim Clutton has joined as national account manager, from Belkin Ltd, and Andrew Press as key account manager, who has previously worked as an FMCG national account manager.
Hisense says that Tim Clutton’s experience, as well as his knowledge of retail sales and mass merchant channels, will be key to Hisense as it continues to broaden UK distribution channels. He previously worked at Belkin Ltd where he held a number of positions for six years, most recently as business development manager.
Andrew Press has worked as an FMCG national account manager with strategic planning experience, responsible for major accounts such as Tesco. Prior to this, Andrew worked at Warner Bros for nine years as both a VMI forecaster and national account manager.
Hisense UK deputy managing director Howard Grindrod commented: “We are thrilled to have appointed two highly capable individuals in Andrew and Tim. Both bring a wealth of experience as well as huge knowledge of the market place. This is incredibly valuable to Hisense UK, especially during such a critical growth period. These two new team members can only make us stronger and more effective. The addition of two highly accomplished professionals is a huge positive as we continue to develop strongly in the UK market.”
