Hama UK, the British based subsidiary of European accessory company Hama, has announced a new partnership with Swiss speaker manufacturers Geneva Lab, in a deal that is set to propel their continued audio market expansion.
Founded in 2006, Geneva Lab is already established across most of Europe, and distribution reaching as far as Indonesia, Australia and Japan, with the UK cited as the next logical step for further expansion.
Hama UK senior product manager Ben Jones commented: “We have always had one ear close to the ground as far as great quality audio is concerned, so there is little wonder that the Geneva Lab brand fell within Hama UK’s earshot. Powerful, hi-fi commendable sound expertly emitted from a high-precision, Swiss-engineered, exquisitely finished package – we didn’t need to be asked twice.”
Hama UK’s initial range will be made up of the Touring portable models and Acustica Lounge, featuring red LED display lettering, eco-leather cladding and brushed aluminium controls.
Geneva Lab sales and marketing vice president Sandro Fulgheri added: “Geneva was looking for a great distribution partner who could help us build our brand and open up new retail channels. Our goal is to continuously improve our customers’ experience in every aspect, expanding our network of sales and support personnel and being in close proximity to where our customers are is a key initiative towards achieving that.
“We feel that with Hama we have found the right partner who can elevate our presence in the UK and Ireland and assure that we are never far away from our customers. Their energetic sales and marketing team made a great impression on me and I’m convinced that they will be able to help us get a formidable footprint in their territory.”
