- Haier UK & Ireland today announced the launch of a social media campaign to acknowledge local heroes that have performed acts of kindness during the pandemic to people or organisations in their community
- Followers are invited to nominate a person or people in their community, that have performed good deeds and acts of kindness to help people during the difficult times for no personal gain
- 5 acts of kindness will be selected from the entries and each act selected will receive a donation of £1,000, to go to the charity of their choice
Haier, the World’s NO.1 Brand in Major Appliances* have launched #Haieractsofkindness. The initiative, which encourages people to nominate someone who has performed acts of kindness and have gone out of their way for no material gain to help others. The initiative is designed to recognise individuals who have worked incredibly hard, with their generosity, hard work and giving up their time during the pandemic to help others. The 5 winners will each receive a donation of £1,000 to go to the charity of their choice. A number of Influencers have also partnered with Haier and are encouraging their community followers to share their amazing stories on people from their area that have performed kind deeds.
Nominations so far have included some incredible stories and selfless acts including NHS workers, ambulance drivers, neighbours organising shopping runs and supporting vulnerable families with food and clothing so that people did not go without essential items.
